Born in London Ontario Canada on Nov 13th 2001, Taylor grew up in the west end of London, Ont. Taylor was always a bit of an odd child growing up both excelling in some areas well very much struggling in others. She was lucky enough to be placed on an IEP (Independent Education Plan) that allowed her to get an even footing with her peers.
In high school she attended HB Beal and was in the art program all four years of high school gaining a total of 18 art credits. She went back for the schools specialized art program offered to the students who completed the foundation during their high school experience. The school year of 2019-2020 she majored in Photography and Painting dealing with a few hiccups along the way with the outbreak of a global pandemic.
After delying going to NSCAD located in Halifax NS Canada for a year (everyone thought the world was ending back in 2020, got to remember that). She then moved away from everyone she's known her whole life to chase the dream of becoming an artist. Containing from her time at Beal she choose her Major to be Photography as her paintings aren't what one can call realistic. They reflect personal truth.
TIme skip again whoops, it's been two years, its 2023 and Taylor is getting ready to move back home after finishing school. She currently has three poetry books out on amazon along with one book of her photographs taken. There is a link to that below.
Growing up in the early 2000s, Taylor was always a bit of an odd child. She had both strengths and weaknesses in certain academic areas, which made her feel quite behind compared to her peers. Fortunately, Taylor was able to get an IEP (Independent Education Plan) to help her even out the playing field, so she could fully participate in her education and not be held back by her learning disabilities. In her art, she shares how life's journey calls for changes and how she learned to overcome the challenges of growing up with a disability in a world that treats children with them as a burden.
